Internet Inspiration: Hand Dryers from Around the World

/ /

"This is a study in the banal. The boring. The completely uninteresting. The things we see everyday. The utilitarian objects that become invisible. But it is fascinating that the absolute banality of the objects is what makes them all so unique and interesting to me. These images are a culmination of my travels around the world - photographs of hand dryers in public bathrooms everywhere from Sydney to Beijing, Cairo to St. Louis."

This reminds of the Japanese philosophy - WABI SABI.

Visited: The National History Museum

Situated right next to my College, the National History Museum London has five main collections: Botany, Zoology, Mineralogy, Entomology and Paleontology.

But even with such diversity, I enjoyed the special Darwin Collection and the Dinosaur collections the most.

Watched: The Vagina Monologues

/ Thursday, March 19 /
This Obie Award-winning episodic play written by Eve Ensler play might be a difficult topic to discuss over dinner, but when performed by enthusiastic caste of Goodenough College students proved very funny with the right amount of seriousness (Bosnian and Japanese comfort women).

Excellent company sitting next to me made it even more funny.

Fantastic. Third row seats made this even more memorable. Aoife Mulholland who plays Roxie Hart was incredible.
