Visited the Città alta (upper city) that included the Cittadella, Pizza Vecchia and the Basilica Santa Maria Maggioe. This original Celtic tribal settlement, later a Roman municipality still seemed to carry the past and the present seamlessly even today. My Turkish friends for a day made this sunny day even more sunnier.
