Bus stops and urban infrastructure don’t always get talked about yet we use them all the time.

In Krumbach, a small, rural town in a region of Austria (Bucklige Welt or hunchbacked world with its alpine terrain) changes this notion that bus stops can’t stop us from running to get the bus and simply appreciate them. After inviting architects from all over the world and instead of fees, this small town offered them vacations in Krumbach at The Schloss Krumbach. The bus stops opened this month, accompanied by an exhibition at the Vorarlberg Architecture Institute.

Beautiful Austria and amazing how small towns can make us challenge urban notions and their limits in our imagination. (Happy to live in this alpine country.)
