Nani's cake

Note: use same weight of eggs, sugar, flour, and vegetable oil.

6 eggs (approx 400g)
400g sugar
400g flour
400g oil
3 teaspoons baking powder
5 teaspoons chocolate powder or drinking chocolate (not Cocoa powder!) (quantity depends on chocolate powder)
1 1/4 cup milk
1 stk vanilla (or 1-1.5 tsp essence)
Pinch of salt

Preheat oven.
Mix the dry ingredients. Sift at least 3 times.
Whisk the eggs separately.
Add sugar to eggs and whisk.
Add oil to eggs and whisk.
Add milk to eggs and whisk.

Now mix both dry and wet ingredients together. Mix well with spoon/spatula.
Add vanilla extract/essence.

Oil the baking pan and dust with flour.
Pour batter and put in oven.
Once cake starts rising, lower oven temperature. It should take around 1 hour to bake cake (check whether it is cooked by putting fork or toothpick in. It should come out clean).
Afterwards, turn off oven but keep cake inside for few minutes (otherwise it will become flat and lose shape when temp changes drastically to room temp).
After taking the cake out of the oven, make sure it is cool before cutting it.

Start baking at 150 degrees celcius and after cake starts rising, change to 130 degrees.
